The Good: I now have an audio promo for my novel. The voices you’ll be hearing belong to Ivy and Jason.
The Bad: I spoke today to my literary agent, and he’s made a business decision to get out of fiction. He’s cutting me loose. He has a colleague who might be interested in me, and he says he still believes in my work, but he’s going to concentrate on non-fiction from now on.
I need a hug. 🙁
{{{BIG HUGS}}}
Darn it. One door closes…another will open. I will be thinking of you.
Aww, man – *Huge hugs!*
Fortunately, God already has your next agent picked out.
Hugs. I’m praying a better opportunity comes along for you soon.
Jenni, I hope God lets me know who that agent is so I can contact him or her. It does no good if God picks out the agent and then doesn’t let either one of us know! 🙂
Thanks, everyone, for the hugs. We’ll see what happens next.
Amen to that! (Prov 16:9 comes to mind)
