It’s been a fun year. Thank you everyone for coming around and staying around!
After one year of writing a weblog, we have:
- 44,000 page views
- 436 posts
- approximately 35 people reading via syndacation
- an average of 200 page views per day
- 19 categories
- the top day was September 11th with 566 views, mostly due to the memorial statue of the angel, the soldier, and the Virgin Mary
- the next top day was in April, with pictures of the new house in Angelborough, and the third top day was the birth of Kiddo#4. (I find it funny that the kid was less important than the house!)
If you’ve been here from the start, you’ve witnessed me having a baby, publishing a novel, and moving to a new city.
And to think it all started when I asked if a bug that drowned in holy water could be considered a martyr!
Thanks so much for all the fun and for starting your day with me! (Or middling your day with me. Or ending it with me on the grounds that by that point nothing I wrote could possibly make it worse…) Thanks for your comments, your gentle redirection and the occasional wap with a frying pan whenever I urgently needed it.
Please raise a glass of the sparkling beverage of your choice (except for sparkling coffee, which I hope never catches on). Cheers! And thanks again.
Your weblogs have inspired me on more than one occasion to dig deeper into myself. Challenge is a good thing. Thanks for all the thought that goes into these daily entries. Wishing you an even greater readership
Happy Birthday.
Thanks for just being out there.
Happy blogaversary! 🙂
Happy birthday!
Hippo Birdies!
This is a weblog done right. Nice mix of joy and cynicism, introspection and extroversion. Leaves me feeling connected and balanced and in good (positive, encouraging, thoughtful and fun) company.
Keep it up!
