I thought you might like to know what we decided about my son and the hat knit for charity.
As it turned out, the hat I intended to donate was too big for my son, so I agreed to make a new one for him. At which point Kiddo#3 asked for one too. And I couldn’t very well leave out Kiddo#2.
I think they need a little more work, though, huh?
I’m lucky in that Kiddo#4 wants nothing to do with hats. Otherwise I’d be knitting forever.
Remember that trip last week, where we bribed the children to behave themselves? Well, as it turns out, if you’re in a car for 14 hours over one weekend, you can knit a waterfall scarf…
…and a wavy gravy hat…
…and half of another hat, which I later ripped out because it wasn’t working right. I’m trying that one over again.
And because I can’t think of a witty way to end this post, here’s another shot of Kiddo#3, wearing Kiddo#1’s pre-hat:
What a wonderful ending to a really nice story. Have you been taking lessons from the story of Solomen and the baby????
Nah — then I’d have cut the hat in half. 🙂
