Remember when I was whining about the mailbox being buried in snow? When I said the snow banks at the bus stop were up to the bottom of the stop sign?
I said, in that entry,
If you don’t hear from me for the next few days, please come to Angelborough with a shovel. Or maybe a front-end loader.
And then I didn’t post for a couple of days.
One of my amazing blog-readers came through, big time.
Yes, that’s an actual front-end loader, at about eight o’clock at night, attempting to widen our street enough that two bicycles can pass one another despite the snow banks. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a good shot with my camera.
Thank you to whomever it was that sent help. The Philangelus family is in your debt.
